Delete your Sinyali account

Delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Open Sinyali and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  4. Type the confirmation word and tap Delete permanently.

Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

What is deleted, and what stays

Why your reports stay

Sinyali is a safety map. A hazard you reported an hour ago is a warning other people are relying on right now — it should not vanish because you closed your account. Your reports remain, but with your name and photo removed: they show as “Deleted user” and nothing in them links back to you. Reports expire on their own 24 hours after posting.

If you want your reports removed too

Email dotreacom@gmail.com from the address on your account, before you delete it, and ask us to remove your reports. We will confirm once it is done, and you can then delete your account as above.

Can't access the app?

If you can no longer sign in, email dotreacom@gmail.com with the email address or phone number on the account. We will verify it belongs to you and delete it for you. We respond within 30 days, usually far sooner.
